King County Metro is searching for a self-motivated administrative professional with good judgment, an eye for accuracy, and strong customer focus to provide support to the General Manager’s Office (GMO). This Administrator I will provide administrative support to the Director of Partnerships & Engagement and the Director of Communications & Marketing within the Chief of Staff Office in the GMO. They will work closely with leaders and staff within the GMO to execute complex and critical administrative support for the agency. This position will report to the Administrative Supervisor within the Administrative Services Section in the Finance & Administration Division.Applying equity and social justice principles is a daily responsibility and a foundational expectation for all King County employees. This recruitment is open to all King County Employees and the general public. King County employees applying for the SDA need to have passed their six (6) month probationary period in their current position.
Required Application & Selection Process:
Completed applications will include at least 10 years of employment history (if you have 10 or more) or to include relevant experience.
Work Location:
This is a hybrid position. The main work site for this position is King Street Center, 201 S Jackson St., Seattle, WA 98104. The team works in a hybrid model, with days in the office as well as telecommuting. Currently, employees are required to be in the office a minimum of two days per week. There is a plan for this to increase to three days by the end of the summer. The ratio of remote to onsite work is subject to change depending on business needs. Employees have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
