Administrator in Training- Long Term Care

We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, and driven Administrator in Training (AIT) to join our long-term care facility team. As an AIT, you will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of managing a skilled nursing facility under the mentorship of experienced leadership. This is an exciting career development opportunity for individuals who are passionate about serving seniors and are interested in becoming a skilled nursing facility administrator.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the facility administrator in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality care and services are delivered to residents.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure efficient staffing, operations, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in financial planning and budget management, including monitoring facility expenses and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Learn about staffing, employee relations, and human resources management, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for facility growth, improvement initiatives, and resident satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care and service in the facility.
  • Support the facility's regulatory compliance with licensing requirements, inspections, and audits.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to elevate service standards.
  • Work closely with residents, families, and staff to maintain a positive and supportive environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (required).
  • Experience in healthcare or long-term care setting (preferred).
  • Must be willing to complete the AIT program and obtain licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator within the designated timeframe.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care (preferred).
  • Compassionate, ethical, and dedicated to improving the lives of elderly residents
