Administrator - Roster Planning
to join our Demand Planning team in our HQ, located in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Free Zone.
Scope
Responsible for managing and optimizing rosters to ensure that operational needs are met for deployment. This role involves working closely with various teams to understand roster demand and contract requirements, create efficient rosters, and ensure compliance with labor laws, contractual conditions, and company policies.
The role plays a key role in supporting operations, demand planning, training and day-to-day operations. Also, the role is to support all planning tasks, managing internal queries, planning documentation, shifting notices, and deployment forms.
Responsibilities
Financial

Track and manage shift & demand changes and last-minute requests from clients/business units.

Reporting and Analytics - generate reports on roster plan, shortages of rosters and relief planning.

Develop and maintain accurate and efficient rosters, ensuring accurate shift patterns and contractual rules.
Customer
-
Collaborate with business units to understand demand requirements and plan rosters & allocate employees accordingly.

Coordinate with internal and external customers in gathering roster changes, preferences, and time-off requests to incorporate into the rosters.

Communicate roster schedules to business units on time and ensure Oracle and internal systems are up-to-date.

Handle internal inquiries regarding scheduling, availability of trainings, client assessments, leave planning, etc.

Ensure clear communication between business units to address any shortages or operational needs.

Address issues related to roster planning and relief management.
Process

Adjust rosters as needed to accommodate shortfalls, peak periods, public holidays, or changes in business demand.

Ensure that rosters are compliant with labor laws, contractual requirements, and KPI, training compliances, company policies, including working hours, breaks, and overtime.

Update and maintain Deployment Form as needed on an ongoing basis.
Innovation

Continuously review and improve rostering processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain internal customer needs.

Propose and implement solutions to address headcount gaps, improve shift coverage, training compliance and streamline scheduling.
Selection Criteria
-
Preferably a Graduate and 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Proven experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce management (preferably 1-3 years).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially in Excel, Word, presentations.

Computer knowledge.

Knowledge of contract compliance and best practices related to scheduling and planning.

Good English proficiency.
