The admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students in making informed academic and career choices while promoting the institution’s programs and services. This role combines counseling, relationship-building, and sales skills to ensure student satisfaction and achieve enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Counseling & Guidance
- Counsel students on academic programs, career paths, and admission requirements.
- Provide accurate information about courses, fees, scholarships, and career outcomes.
- Address student queries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Sales & Enrollment
- Promote institution’s programs to prospective students and parents.
- Conduct follow-ups via calls, emails, and meetings to convert leads into admissions.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly enrollment targets.
- Organize and participate in seminars, webinars, and career fairs to generate leads.
- Relationship Management
- Build strong rapport with students, parents, and schools.
- Maintain long-term relationships to encourage referrals and repeat enrollments.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align counseling with promotional campaigns.
- Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate student records in CRM systems.
- Prepare reports on counseling sessions, conversions, and sales performance.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and ethical counseling practices.
