Admission Counselor

About the role:

Piccolo is looking for a dynamic and warm Admission Counsellor who can guide parents, handle inquiries, and support the admissions process. The role requires excellent communication, sales skills, strong relationship-building, and comfort with basic tech tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle walk-in and phone enquiries from parents with clarity and empathy
• Conduct counselling sessions and explain Piccolo’s programs, philosophy & offerings
• Manage the end-to-end admissions process
• Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into admissions
• Maintain records, reports, and admission data accurately
• Coordinate with centre heads, teachers, and parents for smooth operations
• Support PR initiatives and build strong parent relationships
• Assist in events, workshops, and centre activities
• Use basic software/tools for data entry, communication, and reports
• Represent Piccolo with professionalism and warmth

Required Skills:

• Excellent spoken & written communication
• Strong sales and persuasion ability
• Confident, approachable, and parent-friendly personality
• Good command over Excel/ basic tech tools
• Problem-solving and quick decision-making abilities
• Organised, proactive, and reliable

Qualifications:

• Graduate in any field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in counselling / admissions / customer service / sales
• Experience in preschool or education industry is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
