Admission Counselor

Key Responsibilities-

Student Counselling:

• Student Counselling:
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information about programs, fees, eligibility, and career prospects.

Admissions Process:

• Handle walk-in, phone, online, and referral inquiries.
• Assist students with application form filling, document submission, and scholarship information.
• Ensure timely follow-up with potential leads to maximize conversion.

Target Achievement:

• Meet or exceed monthly admission targets as assigned.
• Maintain records of inquiries, leads, and conversions in the CRM/admissions software.

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain a good rapport with prospective students, parents, and educational consultants.
• Represent the institution in school visits, education fairs, and promotional events.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain complete and updated records of student inquiries and admissions.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on lead status and admissions performance.

Marketing Support (Optional):

• Coordinate with the marketing team for campaigns, advertisements, and outreach programs.
• Contribute ideas for social media or content to attract potential students.
• Counsel students (and parents, if needed) via phone, email, video calls, or in-person meetings.
• Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs or courses.

Required Skills-

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred: in education, business, hospitality, or counseling).
• 3–5 years of experience in student counseling, admissions, or sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and regional language.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and persuasive skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office and CRM tools.

Desirable Attributes:

• Empathetic, student-centered approach.
• Knowledge of educational courses (hospitality, vocational, or higher education).
• Prior experience in an academic or training institution is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dehra Dun, Uttarakhand: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• NA: 3 years (Preferred)
