Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Student Counselor with a good understanding of handling, addressing and resolving behavioral issue of students.
Responsibilities :
· The Admission counselor in consultation with the principal is solely in charge of the Admissions carried on for all classes
· Attending to Visitors/ prospective parents regarding admission queries for both walk ins and telephonically spelling out the strengths of the institution
· Maintaining a data base of Prospectus sold, conversions and admissions confirmed.
· Connect with the school subject teachers for creation of grade appropriate admission tests in the different subjects.
· Follow up on the correction of the papers with the teaching faculty thus maintaining a class wise list of selected candidates signed by the Principal.
· Assigning Admission number and forwarding the class wise lists of selected candidates to the Accounts department for collection of fee.
· Creating students files with the necessary documents as maintained by CBSE.
· Maintaining e Punjab and UDISE portal.
Qualifications for Admissions Counselor
· Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in any related field. Preference would be given to a Post Graduate or MBA.
· At least 3 years’ experience as an Admission Counsellor in a school of repute/College/Educational institute..
· Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver information effectively and persuasively.
· A pleasing, approachable and friendly personality.
· Highly organized with a distinct propensity for timelines and professionalism.
