### **Job Description: Admission Officer**

**Position Overview:**

The Admission Officer is responsible for managing and facilitating the student admission process within an educational institution. This role involves providing guidance to prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all admission processes comply with the institution's policies, and contributing to enrollment goals. The Admission Officer plays a key role in promoting the institution and fostering a welcoming environment for applicants.

Key Responsibilities:**

- Represent the institution at recruitment fairs, school visits, and community events.

- Develop and maintain relationships with schools, agencies, and community organizations to attract prospective students.

2. **Admissions Process Management:**

- Review and evaluate applications, ensuring compliance with admission criteria.

- Coordinate with the admissions committee to assess and select candidates.

- Manage admission documentation, including transcripts, application forms, and references.

3. **Counseling and Support:**

- Provide information and counseling to prospective students and families about academic programs, application requirements, tuition fees, and campus life.

- Guide applicants through the application process, answering inquiries via email, phone, or in person.

4. **Communication and Coordination:**

- Communicate admission decisions to applicants in a professional and timely manner.

- Collaborate with academic departments, financial aid offices, and student services to support the onboarding of new students.

5. **Data Management & Reporting:**

- Maintain and update records of all applications and admissions in the institution’s database.

- Prepare reports on enrollment metrics and trends for leadership review.

6. **Marketing and Promotion:**

- Contribute to the development of promotional materials such as brochures, presentations, and digital campaigns.

- Assist in organizing open houses, campus tours, and orientation programs.

7. **Compliance and Policy Adherence:**

- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, data protection laws, and accreditation standards during the admissions process.

- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in educational standards.

### **Qualifications:**

1. **Education:**

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Education, Business Administration, or Communication.

2. **Experience:**

- Previous experience in admissions, student recruitment, or a similar role in the education sector is preferred.

3. **Skills:**

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

- Proficiency in database management and office software (e.g., MS Office, CRM systems).

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: KD300.000 - KD350.000 per month
