Job Functions:
Essential Duties [95%]
- Serves incoming students with housing, transportation, and other resources to support their enrollment process.
- Schedules student labs & physicals for incoming class.
- Secures POGs for incoming students.
- Attends all stitch in meetings to stay in the loop on potential needs and follow-ups per Admissions directions.
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly productivity in the key result areas of the admissions process as mandated by the Director of Admissions (outgoing/incoming calls, setting appointments, conducting interviews, tours and enrolling students)
- Recruit students for Divers Institute of Technology (DIT) by responding to all incoming calls, internet inquiries, and other advertising sources from prospective students.
- Provide program information to prospective students including but not limited to the DIT catalog, admissions application, and financial aid paperwork.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by prospective students or parents of students regarding cost, financing, dress code, curriculum, tutoring, testing procedures or cancellation policy.
- Utilize customer service techniques with prospective students to encourage campus visits, virtual visits as well as application of admission.
- Arrange and conduct individual interviews with prospective students virtually.
- Maintain appropriate follow-up communication with the prospective students regarding the status of their application for admission, financial aid and dive physical status.
- Maintain records of calls made, calls received, and issues/concerns addressed within the educational software provided.
- Effectively and accurately communicate school policies, processes and procedures relating to the various student support services including part-time and graduate employment, financial aid, housing, etc.
- Make outbound telephone calls to recycled, long term holds and other call lists as delivered by the Director of Admissions.
- Audit and maintain all required admissions documents including but not limited to the copy of the high school diploma/GED, interview questionnaire, admissions application
- Audit and complete initial academic file for enrolled students.
Marginal Duties [5%]
- Attend DIT open houses, additional high school career fairs and other promotional/marketing events as scheduled by the Director of Admissions.
- Interact with current student body to answer any questions and give direction as necessary.

- Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-through and self-discipline.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
