State Hospital North, located in Orofino, is seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Admission Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring safe, timely, and policy‑compliant patient admissions. Our Admission Coordinator is essential in helping individuals access the care they need. You’ll work closely with hospital leadership, the Clinical Services Bureau, and community partners to support smooth transitions of care and maintain optimal hospital bed census.
This position may be eligible for limited telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a criminal history background investigation. Employment is dependent upon satisfactory results of the investigation.

Below is preferred experience. It is not required for the position but applicants with this experience may receive consideration over other applicants.
Experience coordinating patient transitions of care. Typically gained by at least two years of experience in discharge planning, case management, or similar care‑coordination work.
