Admissions Counselor – Sales
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and results-driven Admissions Counselor – Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in driving student enrollment by managing the entire admissions process — from the first inquiry to successful enrollment. This position combines strong sales acumen, excellent communication, and outstanding customer service to guide prospective students while ensuring a smooth and positive admission experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Recruitment:
- Proactively reach out to prospective students through various channels, including phone calls, emails, WhatsApp, and social media.
- Conduct informative and engaging presentations about our programs, facilities, and admission procedures.
- Participate in and represent the university at career fairs, school visits, and educational events to promote programs and generate qualified leads.
- Plan, schedule, and organize outreach events in coordination with the marketing and admissions teams to attract new students.
Admissions Counseling:
- Guide prospective students and their families through the admissions process, providing accurate information and addressing all inquiries.
- Evaluate student profiles to recommend programs that best align with their academic background and career aspirations.
Sales and Target Achievement:
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment targets by effectively converting leads into admissions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize lead conversion rates and student engagement.
Follow-Up and Relationship Management:
- Maintain consistent communication with prospective students through timely follow-ups and personalized engagement.
- Support students through application, document submission, and enrollment stages, ensuring a smooth transition.
Data Management:
- Accurately record all interactions with prospects in the CRM system and ensure data integrity.
- Generate and analyze reports to evaluate recruitment and conversion performance.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Marketing Department to improve lead quality and support promotional activities.
- Coordinate with academic departments to gain insights into program updates and ensure accurate counseling.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year of experience in sales, admissions, or a related role.
- Strong sales, persuasion, and negotiation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to organize, schedule, and manage multiple events efficiently.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure to meet targets.
- Must be willing to travel locally to attend school visits and education fairs.
