We are currently seeking a highly driven, results-oriented Admission Specialist to facilitate seamless patient intake and aggressive census growth. This role demands a proactive professional who understands the clinical and operational nuances of all levels of care within the behavioral health industry.
Role Summary
The Admission Specialist will serve as the primary catalyst for client acquisition, intake, and census management. This is an immediate-fill, hybrid/remote position requiring a highly autonomous contractor capable of generating their own leads and managing the end-to-end admissions pipeline. We utilize a KPI-driven operational model, and compensation is heavily aligned with aggressive accountability and measurable performance.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications
- Established Pipeline (Non-Negotiable): You must possess your own active pipeline for lead generation and referral sources, OR maintain a minimum of two (2) established business relationships with facilities/entities capable of providing consistent, high-quality referrals and leads across all levels of care.
- Industry Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the behavioral health, addiction, and mental illness treatment landscape, including patient criteria for various levels of care (Detox, RTC, PHP, IOP, OP).
- Contractor Status: Ability to operate effectively as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
- Technology Proficiency: Capable of remote collaboration, CRM management, and executing digital communication flawlessly.
Core Responsibilities, Duties & Obligations
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Actively leverage personal networks and external facility relationships to drive consistent admissions and maintain census targets.
- Intake Management: Conduct pre-admission screenings, verify clinical appropriateness, and facilitate a streamlined, compliant intake process.
- Referral Relationship Management: Cultivate, sustain, and expand business-to-business (B2B) relationships with external facilities, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all admission protocols adhere to internal standards and overarching industry regulations (e.g., DHCS, The Joint Commission, CARF).
- Mandatory Reporting: Attend and actively participate in mandatory weekly operational meetings via Zoom or Google Meets to review pipeline health, KPIs, and strategic adjustments.

Compensation & Pay Schedule
We offer a highly competitive, performance-based compensation structure designed to reward top-tier results:
- Standard Base Pay: $5,000 per month.
- Advanced Base Pay ($6,000 per month): The monthly base increases to $6,000 for candidates who bring demonstrable expertise in Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, Advertisement & Marketing, or Financial Allocation.
Note: To qualify for this tier, you must provide a proven track record, professional references, or a comprehensive portfolio showcasing your specialty during the interview.
- Performance Bonus: Uncapped, KPI-driven bonus structure based on meeting and exceeding target goals. (Additional bonuses apply for those qualifying for the Advanced Base Pay tier).
- Pay Schedule: Base pay is disbursed Monthly. Performance bonuses are calculated and disbursed Bi-monthly.
