Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing in leading clinical operations and ensuring exceptional resident care. This role provides hands-on leadership, staff support, and oversight to maintain quality, compliance, and a strong team environment.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (in good standing)
• 2–3+ years of long-term care experience; leadership preferred
• Infection Prevention (IP) certification required
• Strong knowledge of CMS/regulatory standards
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• EMR proficiency and current CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily clinical operations alongside the DON
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Ensure high-quality resident care and accurate care planning
• Conduct rounds and respond to changes in resident condition
• Maintain compliance with all federal/state regulations
• Support QAPI initiatives and survey readiness
• Promote strong communication with staff, residents, and families
