We’re seeking the right candidate for the position of ADON at The Azaleas Assisted Living & The Villas Independent Living. In this vital role, you’ll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

What You Bring to the Table:

Essential Qualifications:

• • Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the nursing department.
  • Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of competent department personnel.
  • Participate in developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling regular in-service training classes that provide instruction and ensure a well-educated nursing department while keeping up with Federal and State educational requirements.
  • Monitors and guide the completion of assessments in a timely manner.
  • Schedules and facilitates care plan conferences Facilitates monthly QM meetings
  • Manages Care Planning Process.
  • Assist in developing, presenting, and evaluating education and training for employees.
  • Infection prevention, vaccinations, collaboration with other healthcare professionals within and outside of the facility and implement infection prevention education.

The Ideal Candidate:

• • Current Nursing license in the state of Louisiana (LPN )
  • Experience in Long-Term Care settings
  • 3 years management experience preferred
  • Excellent Communication Skills required
  • Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision
  • Flexible hours required

Other Qualifications:

• • Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
  • Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
