Ads Intern
to help amplify our ads department.
In this role, you'll go beyond just running ads. You'll be at the center of our
data-driven, impact-focused marketing strategy
, developing and optimizing campaigns that tell real human stories and drive real results.

connect data across platforms using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and conversion APIs

Responsibilities

Plan, launch, and optimize paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), and LinkedIn.

Build and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers and implement event tracking to connect user behavior with campaign outcomes.

Ensure seamless data integration between Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Analytics (GA4) for accurate full-funnel reporting.

Produce and test ad creatives (copy + visuals) that reflect Trickle Up's mission and storytelling approach.

Use A/B testing frameworks to improve ad performance continuously.

Analyse campaign performance data to uncover trends, insights, and budget optimization opportunities.

Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align advertising with broader campaigns.

Stay up to date with nonprofit advertising trends, platform updates, and data privacy regulations
Requirements

Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and (ideally) LinkedIn Ads.

Basic knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4).

Strong analytical mindset with interest in data-driven decision making.

Creative skills in writing ad copy and/or designing visuals a plus.

Detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn the latest in digital advertising.

Passion for nonprofit or mission-driven work is strongly preferred
