Ads Specialist – Performance Ads

Location: Lahore Cantt, Pakistan (On-site)Reports To: Assistant Manager – Performance Ads

About Digilatics

Digilatics is a performance-driven digital marketing agency serving US-based businesses. We specialize in Paid Media and Lead Generation systems backed by strong analytics, disciplined execution, and accountability for measurable business outcomes.

We value clarity, ownership, and execution quality over surface-level activity.

About the Role

The Ads Specialist role is a hands-on paid media position focused on campaign execution, optimization, and data-driven improvement across Paid Search and Paid Social channels.

This role is ideal for someone who already understands paid media fundamentals, can manage campaigns independently within a defined strategy, and is ready to grow into a senior or assistant managerial position over time.

You will work closely with the Assistant Manager and Manager to execute approved strategies, test performance improvements, and maintain campaign quality.

This role is expected to assume partial QA ownership and early diagnostic responsibilities typically handled by an Assistant Manager, as part of real-world leadership preparation.

Experience & Core Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Paid Search / Paid Social Specialist or similar role
  • Proven experience planning and implementing Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns
  • 2+ years of experience with web analytics, tracking, and performance reporting
  • Strong understanding of conversion-focused advertising and optimization logic
  • Comfortable owning assigned accounts and day-to-day performance
  • Demonstrated track record of maintaining stable performance with minimal preventable errors.

Strategy Support & Ownership

You will execute paid media strategies defined by senior team members and take ownership of campaign performance at the execution level. This includes monitoring results, identifying optimization opportunities, and flagging risks early.

You are expected to apply AI and automation tools to improve optimization efficiency and reporting speed, while validating outputs and aligning with senior strategy.

You will be expected to question unclear instructions or inconsistent data rather than executing blindly.

Begin independently diagnosing performance drops and proposing corrective actions before escalation.

Support Assistant Manager by providing structured observations during performance reviews and audits.

Campaign Execution & Optimization

You will be responsible for:

  • Building, launching, and optimizing campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads
  • Managing keywords, audiences, bids, budgets, and creatives
  • Running A/B tests on ads, audiences, and landing page elements (where applicable)
  • Maintaining campaign hygiene and documentation
  • Following platform best practices and internal SOPs
  • Responsible for ensuring zero-mistake launches across assigned accounts.
  • Failure to follow QA checklists or SOPs resulting in preventable client-facing issues will directly impact performance reviews.

Proactively identifying underperforming elements and proposing improvements is expected, not optional.

Analytics, Tracking & Data Accuracy

You will analyze performance data regularly and provide evidence-based recommendations to senior team members.

You should have working knowledge of setting up and validating conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager and be able to identify basic tracking issues.

You are expected to flag tracking inconsistencies before making optimization decisions.

You are accountable for data trustworthiness at the campaign level—optimizations based on incorrect or unverified data are considered execution failures.

Tools & Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Advanced usage of Google Sheets, Excel, Docs, and Office tools
  • Research skills using Ahrefs, SEMrush, and similar platforms
  • Experience with structured A/B testing and performance measurement
  • Expected to document experiments, changes, and learning clearly for future reference and team reuse.

Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving

This role requires strong analytical skills and structured thinking.

You should be able to:

  • Analyze performance trends and anomalies
  • Identify root causes rather than surface symptoms
  • Translate data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Begin mentoring Executives by reviewing their work for logic, accuracy, and execution quality.

Ability to connect campaign performance with lead quality feedback is a strong advantage.

Communication & Reporting

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prepare clear campaign reports and insights
  • Confidence in explaining performance changes to internal stakeholders
  • Support client reporting and discussions when required
  • Expected to challenge incorrect assumptions in reports—accuracy takes priority over speed.

The ability to explain performance insights in simple terms is highly valued.

Work Ethic & Growth Potential

  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills
  • Reliable team player who supports collective goals
  • Willingness to take ownership of assigned outcomes
  • Clear interest in growing into a senior or assistant managerial role

Consistent execution quality and learning velocity are key indicators of growth readiness.

Repeated preventable errors (tracking misses, incorrect budgets, broken experiments, missed QA steps) will block progression to Assistant Manager.

Consistent quality, junior uplift, and diagnostic maturity are mandatory for promotion consideration.

Industry Awareness

  • Stay up to date with paid media platform changes and best practices
  • Apply learning from experiments, case studies, and internal reviews
  • Expected to align with Ads Department 2026 standards on documentation, QA discipline, and AI usage.

KPIs Influenced by This Role

  • Campaign-level CPL and efficiency
  • Testing execution and learning adoption
  • Data accuracy and reporting reliability
  • Reduction in avoidable optimization errors

Contribution to junior execution accuracy and reduced rework is a tracked signal.

This Role Is NOT for You If

  • You require constant supervision
  • You execute tasks without understanding context
  • You avoid accountability for campaign performance
  • You rely on reviews to catch basic execution or tracking mistakes.
  • You treat AI tools as substitutes for thinking or validation.
