Adult Nurse Practitioner

<Job Summary>
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings. This energetic and impactful position offers the opportunity to work with a broad patient population, including those in primary care, acute care, and geriatrics. You will utilize your advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and manage health conditions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. <Responsibilities>

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Manage a wide range of medical conditions by prescribing medications, administering injections, and performing suturing.
  • Coordinate care through case management strategies, discharge planning, utilization review, and telehealth consultations to enhance patient access and continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation using NextGen(Electronic Medical Records) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in settings such as hospitals (including ICU and trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home care environments to deliver holistic patient care.

<Qualifications>

  • Current licensure as an Adult Nurse Practitioner with valid certification from an accredited program.
  • Two or more years experience in outpatient Family Medicine/ Internal Medicine clinic is required.
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (including ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures, and utilization management principles.
  • Hands-on experience with procedures such as suturing, and phlebotomy/venipuncture
  • Excellent patient assessment skills combined with critical thinking abilities; experience working with diverse populations is advantageous.

Pay: $90,997.15 - $100,652.48 per year
