The Department of Psychiatry is seeking outstanding applicants for a clinical track adult psychiatry faculty position with clinician-educator interests. The successful candidates' clinical focus will be aligned with one or more areas of clinical expertise in the department, including, but not limited to board specialization in general adult psychiatry.
This position offers a variety of clinical care settings. In addition to having an individual caseload of patients, the successful candidate may work in a team-based model of outpatient care and may have the opportunity to work in a collaborative care model.
The successful candidate will supervise residents and medical students and may provide direct supervision in resident clinic. The position includes supervising residents taking call for the UW and VA Medical Center hospitals as well as sharing holiday call for the UW psychiatric units. The position includes protected time for academic interests and department-wide educational activities, and fellows.

Provide psychiatric care for a variety of pediatric and/or adult patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Teach medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.

Compensation:
Negotiable, 12 month
