The Advanced Lead Engineer – Repair Development is responsible for repair development of Aircraft Jet Engine composite structures components at GE Aerospace Bangalore Engineering Center.
This job includes all activities relating to enhancing services technology integrating customer data, or capturing engines/products reliability, availability, maintenance, safety and other performance parameters. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.

Role Overview:

Development of repair and inspection technologies, process qualification, industrialization for composite structures. Related program deliverables to repair facilities for new and updated processes.

Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Ideal Candidate:
Should have experience in mechanical design and repair of gas turbine rotating parts components.
Required Qualifications:
- B. Tech/ MTech (Master of Technology)/ MS (Master of Science) in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university

8+ years of experience in mechanical design and repair of gas turbine components
