Advanced book Interior Designer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Advanced Book Interior Designer to design visually compelling, reader-friendly interiors for print and digital books. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in typography, layout systems, publishing standards, and production-ready files for multiple formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design professional interior layouts for books including fiction, non-fiction, textbooks, coffee-table books, and journals
• Create and maintain master templates for chapters, headings, footnotes, indexes, and front/back matter
• Apply advanced typography principles (kerning, leading, tracking, hierarchy, readability)
• Format books for print (POD/offset) and digital formats (EPUB, Kindle, PDF)
• Ensure compliance with publishing standards (bleeds, margins, trim sizes, spine alignment)
• Collaborate with authors, editors, illustrators, and publishers to understand content requirements
• Manage complex elements such as tables, charts, images, callouts, and sidebars
• Perform pre-press checks and quality control to ensure error-free output
• Revise layouts based on editorial and client feedback

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
