About the Role
The work of Brazer at Mueller Refrigeration is performed in an industrial manufacturing environment. Mueller Refrigeration is a manufacturer of HVAC/R components (valves, fitting, protection devices). Product range includes ball valves, pressure relief valves, check valves, manifolds, and filter driers, built to high industry standards. Products are shipped from Hartsville, TN to customers and distribution centers throughout the US and internationally.
What You'll Do

• Perform brazing operation on valves using automated equipment and/or torch
• Adjust alignment of torch(es), wire feed, and fixtures, using templates, measuring instruments and hand tools
• Adjust settings such as time, speed, and wire feed to ensure consistent joints
• Set and maintain gases, torch and other process equipment
• Inspect parts and verify conformance
• Document production information as needed

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting of valves and components weighing from 3 pounds each up to 15 or more pounds
• Constant standing/walking within and around work areas
• Occasional lifting of cartons weighing up to 50 pounds each

Qualifications

• Stable work history
• High school diploma preferred
• Manual dexterity
• Mechanical aptitude with brazing/welding experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to write simple correspondence
