Position Overview
The Advanced Business Analyst is a mid-level business analysis position and serves as a key subject matter contributor for organizing and coordinating strategic business analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business team operates. This role will be key to understanding and documenting capabilities and business, functional and technical requirements needed to address business challenges. Business Analysts work closely with Business resources and stakeholders, internal Technology teams, and various vendors and third-party consultants and implementers.
What You’ll Do
Distill and analyze complex, enterprise level business challenges and to transform those challenges into succinct, written business, functional and technical requirements
Review business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of business or technical processes
Able to communicate high level technology requirements and specifications that meet current and future business needs
Participate in large enterprise level projects working with cross functional teams in planning, development and implementation of technical solutions
Facilitate design sessions for business solutions
Identify opportunities to leverage existing capabilities in Business Line portfolio to solve business challenges
Ensure that the design and integration of proposed system, software and hardware solutions leads to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology
Qualifications
B.S, B.A. in Computer Science or Business preferred
3-5 years working in a financial services environment with special emphasis on coordinating business, functional and technical requirements and/or project management across large cross functional teams, programs or projects
Ability to work on multiple projects and programs simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical people
Exposure to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including Agile and Scrum methodologies

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $75,000.00 - $100,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
