Summary

The Advanced Clinic Registered Nurse position provides professional nursing care in the Cardiology Office for all patients following established protocols, standards and practices for patient care and customer service. This position maintain contact with patients through telephone and personal encounters while working collaboratively with Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians to ensure responsive, high quality care.

Qualifications

• Required

o Current State of Nevada licensure as Registered Nurse
o American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for healthcare providers.
o Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare provider’s certification.
o Minimum one (1) year critical care related experience
o Strong teaching skills over a wide range of cardiology topics to a broad spectrum of patients

• Preferred

o Experience in a Cardiac Stress Lab
o Experience in advanced rhythm analysis
o Cardiac Nursing National Board Certification
o Prior knowledge of Cardiac stress agents
o Specific Cardiology outpatient clinic experience and/or Telemetry unit nursing experience
