The Advanced Aesthetician will perform a wide range of advanced aesthetic treatments while upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and client experience. This position requires strong clinical knowledge, confidence with advanced devices, and a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced aesthetic treatments, including customized facials, corrective skin therapies, chemical peels, laser and energy-based treatments, and post-treatment care, tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
- Perform laser treatments utilizing 532, 755, and 1064 wavelengths for indications such as pigmentation, vascular lesions, hair reduction, and skin rejuvenation, while following all safety protocols and treatment guidelines.
- Perform tattoo removal treatments using advanced laser technology, ensuring proper client assessment, education, and aftercare.
- Deliver ultrasound-based treatments for skin tightening and lifting while educating clients on expected outcomes and recommended treatment plans.
- Conduct comprehensive client consultations, skin analyses, and treatment planning, while educating clients on home care regimens and long-term skin health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment notes, laser settings, contraindications, consent forms, and progress tracking.
- Demonstrate strong retail and treatment plan recommendation skills with a focus on ethical, results-driven solutions.
- Maintain strict adherence to sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards, including all laser safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to support clinic goals, promotions, and overall business growth.
- Actively pursue continuing education and stay current with advancements in aesthetic technology, laser treatments, and industry trends.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active and valid Aesthetician license required.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a medical spa or clinical aesthetic setting.
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Laser treatments, including 532, 755, and 1064 wavelengths
- Ultrasound-based devices
- Tattoo removal treatments
- Advanced training in corrective skincare and energy-based modalities preferred.
- Strong understanding of:
- Skin physiology
- Skin conditions
- Laser safety
- Ingredient knowledge
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
