Advanced Maintenance Technician

Position Summary
- Continuously receives work orders and checks building conditions for needed repairs. Repairs, replaces numerous building components: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, etc. Performs preventative maintenance. Responds to multiple emergency situations and resolves for residents' safety.
Education
- High School Diploma, General Studies - Preferred
Experience
- 3 - 5 Years - Preferred
- Household maintenance and repairs: plumbing, electrical, repairing appliances, basic construction/repair tools - Preferred
License & Certification
- HVAC, electronics, CAMT (Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician) - Preferred
Core Job Functions
- Repairs washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, walls, electrical items, alarm system and video equipment.
- Performs all routine preventative maintenance. Changes filters, cleans/repairs HVACs, checks boilers/automatic generator.
- Cleans, repairs and paints walls and HVACs, as applicable. Calls in outside vendors as needed for repairs.
- Assists with HUD physical inspections and Inspects apartments for repairs and replacements. Inspects stairwells, boilers, HVACs and automatic generator on a regular schedule.

Schedule: Full Time, Other, 8:30am-5:00pm
