Advanced Montessori Teaching

American Lyceum International School is looking for a caring, creative, and energetic Advanced Montessori Teacher to join our Primary Section. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English, a passion for teaching young learners, and the ability to create a safe and engaging classroom environment that supports both academic and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
• Use interactive and age-appropriate teaching methods to maintain student interest and engagement.
• Assess and monitor student progress through observation.
• Maintain detailed student records and provide regular feedback to parents.
• Encourage personal responsibility, discipline, and good behavior in class.
• Communicate regularly with parents through meetings, reports, and updates.
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain an organized learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, school events, and co-curricular activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to share ideas and improve teaching practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Teaching certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• 1 year of experience teaching at the primary level.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
• Familiarity with primary-level curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Proficient in classroom management and communication with parents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs35,000.00 per month
