Department/Speciality: Inpatient Pharmacy
Schedule: Rotating Shifts l Full-time
What You Will Do:
- Lead specialized technical functions, including hazardous drug compounding, nuclear, and Patient Assistance Program (PAP) activities, to ensure safe and compliant medication access and delivery.

Manage the full medication supply cycle, including inventory, ordering, bulk repackaging, and maintaining the operational integrity of automated dispensing systems.

Facilitate comprehensive patient access to necessary specialty medications by conducting benefit investigation, prior authorization, and financial assistance support.

Serve as a critical communication liaison, providing accurate information to patients, external resources (e.g., retail pharmacies), and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Support regulatory compliance and inventory optimization, utilizing advanced technical skills to monitor standards and manage drug shortage challenges.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Pharmacy intern would be acceptable in lieu of.
Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences:
ACPE IV/STERILE COMPOUNDING CERTIFICATION
