Advanced Practice Nurse

Dallas Nephrology Associates (DNA) is a large independent single specialty practice with numerous offices located throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Immediate opening for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant (APP) to service our patients at Medical City for inpatient coverage. This team member will provide medical oversight to an assigned group of patients under the supervision of a DNA Supervising Physician. Day to day responsibilities will include patient visits, consulting and collaborating with physician(s) to determine appropriate course of treatment, and review and reporting of lab results. Consults with other members of the healthcare team when appropriate. Instructs patients and family members regarding treatment Consults with other members of the healthcare team when appropriate. In addition, this provider will evaluate and ensure that patients are familiar with all options of treatment and receive the appropriate information and education about the options for them.

No nights, no weekends.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from accredited APP program (Acute care certification or hospital experience required for NPs)
  • In-Patient hospital experience preferred
  • Out-Patient hospital experience preferred
  • Current Texas state license
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • Reliable transportation

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
