About Us

Cyfair Psychiatry, PA is a growing outpatient mental health practice serving the Greater Houston area with multiple clinic locations. We provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Magnolia/The Woodlands team.

Position Overview

This is an outpatient psychiatry position focused on medication management and psychiatric evaluations within a collaborative team setting. The provider will work alongside psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff to deliver high-quality mental health care.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position with a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions across the lifespan
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with Texas regulations
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation within the EMR
• Collaborate with supervising psychiatrists and clinical staff
• Provide patient-centered, evidence-based care
• Participate in treatment planning and care coordination

Qualifications

• Active Texas NP or PA license
• Board certification as PMHNP preferred; strong psychiatry experience considered for PAs
• DEA license and prescriptive authority in Texas
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while functioning within a collaborative team environment
