Position Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider delivers comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare services to patients of all ages, with an emphasis on whole-person care and evidence-based treatment. The provider will diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, deliver MAT services, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care to diverse patient populations

Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions

Deliver Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for patients with substance use disorders

Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing (labs, imaging, studies)

Prescribe medications and evidence-based treatment plans

Counsel patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-management

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans following clinical protocols

Refer patients to specialists and community resources as appropriate

Perform in-office procedures including:
- IUD and Nexplanon placement

Pap smears and biopsies
-
Joint injections
-
Nail removals
-
Suturing
-
Wart cryotherapy
-
Incision & drainage
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

Active South Carolina APRN or Physician Assistant license

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Experience providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Minimum of 3 years clinical experience preferred
