Sentara RMH Hahn Oncology Center is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Hematology/Oncology team in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley.
This is a 100% outpatient opportunity where you’ll build meaningful relationships with patients, collaborate closely with physicians, and practice at the top of your license in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Position Highlights:
100% outpatient hematology/oncology ambulatory clinic
Average 10–12 patients per day
New graduates welcome to apply
Join a collegial team of 7 physicians and 1 APP
Four clinical days onsite + one administrative day (flexible, excluding Fridays)
Monday–Thursday schedule, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Last patient scheduled at 4:30 p.m.
No call. No weekends. Ever.

Responsibilities include:
Partner with physicians to manage hematology and oncology treatment plans
Evaluate and follow patients in an ambulatory clinic setting
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and medications
Educate and support patients and families throughout their cancer journey
Oncology certification (AOCNP) preferred at hire or required within a defined timeframe after employment
