Sentara Halifax Pediatrics is seeking a full‑time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to care for pediatric patients in South Boston, VA. You’ll practice in a fast‑paced, outpatient setting alongside dedicated physicians and staff who value teamwork, positivity, and delivering exceptional care to every child and family we serve.
Position Highlights:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
40 hours a week (36 patient contact hours and 4 hours of admin time)
Collaborative practice with 2 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner, and 7 support staff
Average 15 – 18 patients per day
Patient population from newborn to 21 years of age
No call, no weekends – office is closed Saturday and Sunday

Minimum Requirements:
Active NP or PA
Minimum master’s degree required
Experience APP preferred but open to exceptional new grads with pediatric experience
