About EdemaCare
EdemaCare is a specialty chronic edema and lymphedema management company delivering home-based clinical care across Florida. We manage chronic edema as the disease — not just the symptom. Our Wound Care division operates under a physician-led clinical governance model that pairs advanced nurse practitioner wound care with in-home edema therapy execution.
About the Role
As a PRN nurse practitioner in our wound care program, you are the medical owner of your cases. You lead all clinical decision-making, advanced procedures, and plan of care — supported by a dedicated team of Lymphatic Specialists who execute in-home dressing changes, compression therapy, and edema management between your visits.
This is a telehealth-first model with in-person visits when clinically necessary. You'll carry a manageable caseload with a hard cap of 2 visits per week per patient, while our therapy team handles the repeat-touch volume at 4x/week during active phases.
What You'll Do
- Own the plan of care for assigned wound cases across two tracks: edema-driven wounds and standalone wound care
- Conduct telehealth and in-person wound evaluations; classify and tier cases at intake
- Perform all advanced wound care — sharp debridement, infection management, wound vac, culture collection
- Place all orders: labs, imaging, supplies, and compression
- Conduct weekly telehealth oversight; review therapist wound photos and progress notes
- Respond to clinical escalations: suspected infection, tunneling, eschar, stalled healing
- Participate in weekly complex and chronic wound review with the Medical Director
- Lead standalone wound cases independently; collaborate with the clinical governance team on edema-driven and complex cases
- Approve wound discharge — cases are never closed by scheduling drift or visit attrition
What We're Looking For
- Active Florida ARNP license in good standing
- Experience in wound care, home health, or chronic disease management
- Ability to perform sharp debridement and advanced wound procedures independently
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and digital documentation
- Experience with venous ulcers, edema-related wounds, or lymphedema preferred
- Wound care certification a plus — not required
- Organized, escalation-minded, and documentation-disciplined
Why EdemaCare
- $100–$150 per visit — telehealth visits on the lower end, in-person and advanced wound care on the higher end
- Flexible PRN schedule — you set your availability
- Hard visit cap of 2x per week per patient — you deliver advanced care, not volume
- Our therapy team handles in-home repeat-touch execution so you stay focused on medical management
- 24/7 clinical support line and physician Medical Director backup on complex cases
- Billing and coding support provided
- Be part of building a first-of-its-kind wound and edema program from the ground up
- Mission-driven organization that takes patient care personally
