Roles And Responsibilities

Provide strategic guidance, expert advice, and technical support to the Head of CLIENT Aviation and aviation employees. This role focuses on shaping the development and execution of the aviation strategy, policies, and initiatives, with a particular emphasis on the integration of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and UAS/UAVs.

Strategic Guidance & Advisory: Provide strategic direction for the aviation sector’s goals and initiatives, ensuring alignment with CLIENT’s broader strategic plan.

Expert Advice on Policy & Regulations: Advise on the creation, development, and harmonization of aviation policies and regulations, especially for AAM and UAS/UAV integration at the local, national, and international levels.

Technical Support for AAM and UAS/UAV Integration: Provide technical expertise on the integration of AAM (eVTOL, air taxis) and UAS/UAV technologies into the aviation ecosystem, addressing regulatory, operational, and infrastructure challenges.

Air Service Agreements (ASAs) & Traffic Rights: Advise and assist with the negotiation, drafting, and review of Air Service Agreements (ASAs), ensuring the optimal allocation of traffic rights to enhance air connectivity and support economic development. Provide support in the negotiation of air traffic rights with international stakeholders.

Budget Development Support: Assist in the creation and management of the Aviation budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.

Consultancy Management: Develop Terms of Reference (TOR) and Request for Tender (RFT) for consulting services and oversee the performance of consultants engaged.

Capacity and Connectivity Monitoring: Evaluate and recommend strategies to increase aviation sector capacity and connectivity.

Stakeholder Representation: Represent CLIENT Aviation at various stakeholder meetings, promoting collaboration and alignment within the aviation sector.
