POSITION OVERVIEW:
Plans, organizes and controls the U.S. & Canada payroll tax function within the ADP Comprehensive Outsourcing Services (COS) model. Supports compliance activities, internal controls, and issue resolution in collaboration with the Payroll team, ADP, and internal stakeholders
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures accurate payments of Canada, U.S., state and local payroll taxes and corporate liabilities Calculates gross and net pay amounts, including salary, overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, bonuses, deferred compensation, benefits, tax withholdings, deductions and payroll liabilities
Maintains organized records of tax filings, notices, and correspondence
Reconciles payroll records, including payments, deductions and general ledger entries for wages
Sets up and maintains organized records of tax filings, notices, and correspondence
Complies with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
