Aeronautic Industrial Design Engineer (UAV / UUV)

We’re hiring: Aeronautic Industrial Design Engineer (UAV / UUV) — Additive Manufacturing Focus

We are a 3D Additive Manufacturing Company and wish to strengthen our capabilities in developing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Unmanned (Aerial/)Underwater Vehicles (UUV) and we’re looking for an Aeronautic Industrial Design Engineer who can design beautiful, functional platforms and preferably knows how to engineer parts for additive manufacturing.

What we’re looking for (must-have)

• Degree in Aerospace / Mechanical / Industrial Design Engineering (or similar)
• Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks / CATIA / NX / Fusion 360)
• Proven work on UAVs and/or UUVs (or comparable mechatronic platforms)
• Solid experience with 3D additive manufacturing (polymer and/or metal), including:
• DFAM principles
• Part consolidation and light weighting
• Post-processing considerations (machining interfaces, inserts, finishing)
• You can show a portfolio with real parts/prototypes (not just renders)

Bonus points (strong differentiators)

• Experience with HP Multi Jet Fusion, SLS, SLA, FDM, or metal AM (DMLS/SLM)
• Composites knowledge (carbon structures, layup constraints) and hybrid builds (printed + composite)
• CFD/aero intuition, sealing/IP design, corrosion/galvanic isolation (for underwater use)
• Experience taking designs into small-series production
