The Aerospace CMS Implementation Data Lead manages pricing, sourcing, part setup and all aspects of data for miscellaneous items within the ASC/CMS product portfolio. Completes tasks assigned for RFQs and implementations. Acts as a liaison between PPG and suppliers to ensure that PPG is getting the most favorable pricing and lead-times. This position can reside in Indianapolis, Atlanta
Key Responsibilities:

Works with the project lead to complete implementation and RFQ sourcing activities for tail spend items on time and accurately.

Sources materials in support of aerospace ASC/CMS

Supports the CMS platform in requirements.

Process new part requests and manages part master within HMM for all implementations and individual new part requests

Selects suppliers per customer requirements that deliver the best value and most secure supply chain for the customers and PPG

Executes strategic sourcing decisions within tail spend.

Interfaces between the suppliers in the country/region of activity and group globally.

Supports the business in developing alternate sources in the event of supply chain disruptions.

Utilizes software tools to conduct competitive bids

Participates in additional corporate projects and teams as required
Qualification:

US Citizen
-
BA degree required
-
Prefer 2+ years of direct procurement, supply chain or sourcing experience in a large corporate setting

Intermediate Excel

Data analytics
-
Understanding of information requirements for importing and exporting materials globally

Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including QAD, Oracle, ePro, etc

Good project management and communication skills

Fluency in English in writing and speaking

Knowledge of QAD

Knowledge of IT tools such as Smartsheets, Jaegger, SAP, PowerBI, SSP, Qstrat, MS Office (Excel, Access), HMM UX, ePro, SharePoint and Intranet is a plus

Chemicals sourcing experience a plus
