Join a fast-paced aerospace shop where your manual machining expertise keeps production moving and quality uncompromised. As our Aerospace Precision Machinist, you’ll run conventional mills and lathes, switch tooling with confidence, and hold tight tolerances on flight-critical components—all while staying on schedule.
You arrive to a clean, organized cell and review blueprints and work instructions for the day’s builds. You set up a conventional lathe for stainless steel work, select and change tooling, make careful adjustments, and begin roughing to spec. Mid-cycle, you pause to verify dimensions with micrometers, calipers, and gauges, documenting in-process checks. After a successful run, you move to the manual mill for an aluminum component, maintaining dimensional accuracy, updating inspection records, and communicating any issues or improvement ideas to your supervisor—all while aligning to production goals and deadlines.
