Job Summary:

The Aesthetic Educator is a brand ambassador, educator, and content creator, with a key focus on supporting aesthetic schools through training, curriculum integration, and student engagement to build brand awareness and drive education-based sales. The Aesthetic Educator works closely with the Sr Director of Education to strengthen partnerships with schools, enhance educational resources, and help grow the company’s regional education presence while elevating GlyMed Plus within the next generation of skincare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, produce, and manage content for the company’s digital platforms and develop educational resources.
• Develop effective training materials and curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with aesthetic schools to support training initiatives, provide educational resources, and increase brand exposure through onsite and virtual engagement.
• Deliver onsite and virtual demonstrations, product knowledge classes, and treatment trainings within aesthetic schools to drive education-based sales.
• Support school partners in integrating GlyMed curriculum, product knowledge, and treatment protocols into their classroom programs.
• Conduct “Train the Trainer” programs.
• Organize training materials, updating curriculum, and providing education support internally and externally.
• Coordinate with Education Content Coordinator on everything related to classes, from registration to certificates and everything in between.
• Present GlyMed Plus products, including ingredients and their application.
• Research industry-related topics and trends for content creation.
• Attend and participate in tradeshows and events.

Requirements:

• Aesthetic license required (Master Esthetician preferred).
• Esthetic Instructor license, plus 2+ years of skincare or aesthetics instructional experience required.
• Familiarity with GlyMed Plus products and protocols.
• Strong knowledge of skin histology, skin conditions, ingredients, and professional treatments.
• Understanding of industry trends and professional retail strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated writing and editing experience for educational or training content.
• Strong presentation skills; ability to lead classes for extended periods of time.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate across departments.
• Comfortable using digital platforms for training (webinars, presentations, LMS).
• International travel may be required.
• Experience in instructional or course design a plus.
• Bilingual skills a plus.
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends and travel up to 30%.
• Must work onsite at the Pleasant Grove, Utah office and travel regularly to partner GlyMed Plus aesthetic schools as needed.
