We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support overall clinic operations with a strong focus on patient experience. The right candidate is passionate about patient care, aesthetics, and teamwork.
This role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities to support providers, maintain smooth clinic operations, and ensure every patient receives an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for examinations and procedures
- Obtain and document patient medical history, allergies, medications, and supplements
- Record patient vital signs and perform intake assessments
- Assist providers during aesthetic and wellness treatments
- Administer intramuscular (IM) injections under provider supervision
- Monitor and remove IVs as directed
- Process prescriptions to patient pharmacies under provider supervision
- Perform lab draws/phlebotomy
- Apply numbing agents prior to aesthetic procedures
- Assist with treatment room setup and provider workflow
- Clean, stock, and turn over rooms between patients
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
- Inventory Management
- Greet and check in patients for appointments
- Ensure required forms and consents are completed in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Check out patients and assist with follow-up scheduling
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Assist patients with retail purchases and maintain retail displays
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment
- Assist with other operational tasks as needed.
- Cross-train and assist other team members as needed
- Maintain professionalism in appearance, communication, and job performance
Requirements
- Prior experience in dermatology, urgent care, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medication administration
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required to ensure patient safety during procedures
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions is preferred
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform clinical tasks including vital signs measurement, intake processing, and assisting with ultrasound if needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
