Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Aesthetic Medical Assistant/Secretary to join our team at Revived Medical Aesthetics. In this role, you will provide clinical and administrative support to our providers, assist with non-surgical aesthetic procedures, and ensure the highest level of patient care in a medical spa setting. This is a dynamic position ideal for someone passionate about skincare, wellness, and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist providers during aesthetic treatments (e.g., injectables, laser treatments, microneedling)
- Fill and administer intramuscular (IM) vitamin injections in accordance with provider directives and protocols
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of administered injections
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure cleanliness, sanitization, and proper inventory of medical and skincare supplies
- Perform inventory management, including stock organization and supply audits
- Provide pre- and post-treatment instructions and education to clients
- Accurately document patient records using EMR systems
- Maintain strict client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Greeting clients and assisting with check-in/check-out
- Answering phone calls, text messages, emails, and social media inquiries
- Scheduling appointments and managing provider schedules
- Assisting clients with memberships, loyalty programs, and financing options
- Maintaining a professional and welcoming client experience
- Processing payments and retail purchases
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality
- Assisting with daily office operations and assigned tasks
- Marketing & Social Media Support
- Utilizing Canva, square, and other platforms for marketing materials as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the office
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), LPN, or equivalent clinical training preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or clinical setting
- Proficient in administering IM injections or willingness to be trained
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of skincare, facial treatments, and skin conditions preferred
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Strong attention to detail and clinical safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current PA Aesthetician License: Candidates holding this license are eligible for additional pay based on experience and scope of treatment responsibilities.
