Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Aesthetician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional skincare and wellness treatments and services to clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. You will utilize your expertise in various aesthetic techniques while maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in skincare, lasers, advanced facial treatments, and an understanding of color theory/Fitz, along with the ability to manage client appointments effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of aesthetic treatments including facials, body waxing, laser hair removal, and more.
• Utilize straight razors for precise hair removal techniques when necessary.
• Sanitate all tools and work areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Manage client schedules using BOULEVARD to ensure efficient appointment flow.
• Provide personalized skincare consultations and recommend appropriate products or treatments.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in the aesthetics industry.
• Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress.
• Be professional and friendly when greeting clients.

Skills

• Proficient in sanitation practices relevant to aesthetic procedures.
• Experience with straight razor techniques for hair removal.
• Strong management skills for overseeing client appointments and treatment plans.
• Familiarity with BOULEVARD software for scheduling and client management (can be taught).
• Expertise in body waxing methods for various skin types.
• Ability to perform expert facial treatments.
• Understanding of color theory as it relates to skincare and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Dermaplane certified (proof required).
• Ability to understand and perform laser hair removal services.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Aesthetic & laser treatments : 4 years (Required)

Language:

• English, russian, spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Dermaplane certificate (Required)
• Esthetics license (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Flushing, NY 11367 (Required)
