After School Care from a Tudor/Teacher for 7th grade twins

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Tudor/Teacher who can provide after school support to our 13-year-old twin girls, who have ADHD and benefit greatly from structured and engaging activities. The ideal candidate will have a background in education and or tutoring and a strong ability to provide a supportive and organized environment.

Preferred but not required: Help prep/prepare meals for our family of four and do occasional errands for our family.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pickup and Dropoff: Safely transport the girls to and from after-school activities and other appointments as needed.
• Structured Support: Assist with homework, ensuring that it is completed accurately and on time, while providing a structured and focused environment.
• Activity Planning: Engage the girls in enriching, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and fun. Help manage their time and activities to create a balanced routine.
• Organization: Maintain a tidy and organized space for the girls to work and play, and support them in organizing their materials and tasks.

Qualifications:

• Education Background: A degree in education, child development, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience working with children, particularly those with ADHD or similar needs, is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, patience, and the ability to implement structure and routine effectively. Proficiency in handling multiple tasks and problem-solving is essential.
• Transportation: A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for transportation duties.

Additional Requirements:

• Comfort with a small dog and willingness to walk dog

Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required.

• Availability: Flexibility for occasional extended hours or additional tasks as needed.

Hours 4:00-6:30 min (more some days if available) and pay 25-30 per hour
