After-school Nanny Positions

We are currently seeking energetic, dependable, and positive part-time nannies to work with exceptional families throughout the DC metro area, with compensation ranging from $25 to $35 per hour depending on experience and the specific role. These positions offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability, including after-school hours typically between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, daytime opportunities on days when you do not have classes, as well as evening and weekend babysitting assignments.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable childcare experience while working in private homes with supportive families who value professionalism, reliability, and a warm, engaging approach to childcare.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Being a reliable, safe adult in charge of transporting children up from school to home or to activities.
• Supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities and play.
• Assisting with homework, school routines, and helping children stay organized.
• Preparing and serving simple snacks or light meals and helping with light child-related clean-up.
• Maintaining open communication and ensuring a consistent and safe after-school routine.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of recent childcare experience (babysitting, camp counselor, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
• Legal to work in the US
• Experience working with school-age children
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record & car

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
