After-School STEM Teacher: Robotics, Coding, 3D Printing, etc.

The Advent School seeks After-School STEM Instructors with experience teaching pre-Kindergarten through Sixth grade students.

Candidates for the After-School STEM Instructor position are ideally available to commit to the following schedule:

Monday to Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. and Fridays 12:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. from December 1 until March 6 with the opportunity to continue for the remainder of the school year.

We are open to candidates who can only commit to one or more days per week.

The School is specifically seeking an After-School STEM Instructor who is skilled and passionate about teaching:

• Robotics
• Coding
• 3D Printing
• Sound Engineering
• Videography

Qualifications for the After-School STEM Instructor are:

• Education and experience in the given subject area
• At least one year of experience working with elementary-aged children
• The ideal candidate will be able to commit their time and skills for time period listed and have strong group management and relationship-building skills.
• Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree are strongly preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 11 per week
