Aftercare Teacher

Pine Forest Charter School is in search of a part-time Aftercare teacher for a short-term position, available five days a week. This role might be ideal for either a college student or a retired educator in need of part-time employment. The position offers 16 hours weekly, with a pay rate ranging from $18.35 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience. Working hours are scheduled from 2:50 pm to 5:40 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, while Wednesday hours extend from 12:50 pm to 5:40 pm. The role is set to begin on January 5 and will last until either March 5 or May 29, depending on the new hire's availability. Candidates must possess a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card or be willing to apply for one immediately upon being hired. Preference will be given to those with experience in group settings with children aged 5 to 8. The number of children present can range from 3 to 13. The Aftercare teacher will be responsible for supervising and planning afternoon activities in a nurturing atmosphere guided by the principles of Waldorf Education.
