Afternoon Preschool or Afterschool Teacher

<Responsibilities>

• Ability to engage our preschool or after school students and facilitate both indoor and outdoor activities.
• Be comfortable supervising groups of children 16 months to 4 years old and/or K-5th graders, and effectively maintain appropriate standards of care.
• Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management
• Support children’s emotional well-being through effective behavior management strategies and personalized attention
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including toddler care and early intervention techniques
• Maintain classroom organization, manage supplies efficiently, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

<Qualifications>

• Prior experience working with children in preschool or childcare settings is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
• Classroom experience in daycare or private school environments is advantageous
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude
• Certification or coursework related to early childhood education is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
