Afternoon Teacher's Aide

Christ Lutheran Church seeks to hire an Afternoon Aide for our childcare center, Building Blocks Early Learning Center. We are looking for someone who reflects a Christian attitude in work and daily lifestyle. We seek someone to work part-time for 5 hours in the afternoon, 12:30-5:30 on Monday-Friday. This person is responsible for supervising preschool aged children in the afternoon setting.

Qualification

• Complete training and licensing requirements, which include Abusive Head Trauma training, Child Development training, Pediatric CPR and First Aid Training, and Orientation Training including background check and fingerprinting, prior to the start date
• At least 18 years of age

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe, educational, loving, and emotionally healthy environment for the children
• Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Building Blocks Early Learning Center
• Supervise Children during naptime and aftercare
• Set up snacks
• Maintain a record of daily check-out times of students
• Closing duties

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
