Preschool Teacher (Toddler Room) – Must Actually Show Up to the Interview

We’ll just say it: we’ve met some interesting candidates lately, so I am reposting to find the right person. If you’re someone who shows up to interviews, answers messages, and actually enjoys toddlers, you’re already ahead of the game!

LifeHope Childcare (located on the campus of Northland Church) is looking for a Preschool Teacher to join our fun, faith-based, toddler-loving team. Our 1- and 2-year-olds are adorable, energetic, and occasionally sticky — and they’re waiting for their next favorite teacher.

Schedule: Must have availability Monday–Friday, 12:00–6:00 pm (sorry, no “I’m free every other Tuesday”, or “I’m available Monday - Friday, except on Wednesdays and Thursdays”).

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Creating a safe, happy classroom where toddlers feel loved and secure.
• Leading fun, creative activities that spark curiosity (which may involve glitter).
• Communicating with parents who love updates (and pictures of their tiny Picasso).
• Teaming up with coworkers who are supportive, funny, and know the value of an energy drink.

What We’re Looking For:

• A heart for children and a genuine excitement for early childhood learning.
• Experience working with little ones (or a supernatural level of patience).
• 45 DCF Hours required. CPR/First Aid is a plus.
• A positive attitude, a sense of humor, and the ability to dance like no one’s watching — even if everyone is.
