Qualifications
Valid Teaching Certificate or Substitute Permit. Special Education certification required. Anyone employed with a permit must commit to take a minimum of six (6) hours toward certification and remain in the position for the 2025-2026 School Year.

Job Description
Provide instruction in all areas of the curriculum according to each student's class schedule.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to obtain assignments needed to fulfill the requirements for each scheduled class.
• Instruct student in all curriculum areas, two evenings per week for two hours per session (four hours total).
• Keep attendance records and reports as indicated within the Clay County Schools Attendance and Homebound Policies.
• Responsible for adhering to timelines for grades, etc., as determined by the school administrators.
• Communicate to parents their child's progress, scheduled sessions, and other information deemed necessary by the school.

Extra-curricular Contract

Compensation
$25.00 per hour (4 hourly sessions + 2 hours planning per week)
